The Society is an active organizer of Japan related events

The Society organizes Japan related theme events, festivals, parties, lectures, excursions, cooking courses, arts events, concerts, company visits and hosts our Japanese friends during their visits in Finland. The Society works completely on volunteer basis.

You are invited to join the Finnish Japanese Society

The annual membership fee is 20 euros. For the fee, the members receive annually four Finnish language newsletters as most of the Japanese members of the society do speak Finnish as well. Some of the Society´s events are open to members only. For those events that are open also to the general public, members do get an advance booking privilege and membership discount.

To the delight of the Society´s Board, many members of the Helsinki based expatriate community have recently attended Society´s events. Efforts are made for English language translation on volunteer basis when the non-Finnish speaker makes his/her presence known. Also many of the links of the webpages do lead into English language sites. For more information, get in touch with one of the members of the board.
